Bio:
Galaxy was formed in 1977 by Mike Maiberger and Mike White. Members included Jeff Poole on vocals and lead guitar, Mike Maiberger lead vocals and guitar, Tommy Hammond on bass, Mike White on keyboards, Gail White lead vocalist and Gary Maiberger on drums.

The band performed many engagements throughout the central Ohio area and appeared as headliners for the WTVN rally in the alley. Their album, "Back in Union Station" was written and produced by Mike Maiberger and Jeff Poole. The single, "Union Station" later became the promo theme song for the WTVN rally in the alley. Maiberger deleted the vocal tracks from the master and rewrote the lyrics to promote the WTVN / Columbus Jaycee event. Towards the tail end of Galaxy, Maiberger and Hammond began an association with Joey Molland of the Beatle discovered band "Badfinger". Joey, now living in Minnesota took a liking to the song and plans to re-record the song in the near future.

Galaxy called it quits in late 1983. Mike Maiberger was introduced at
this time to Tim Fleischer of Skyline and became the band's bass guitarist.
